Presenting "A Christmas Carol"

We are excited to announce that on Friday, December 6, Rush United Methodist Church will be the site for a production of “A Christmas Carol.” Mr. Kim Tenreiro is a local actor, who for more than 10 years has been presenting his dramatic one-man performance that brings to life over 30 characters during the show. Due to the potential difficulty of understanding Dickens’ “old English” language, the production is recommended for “mature audiences.”

The performance consists of 2 acts, with a 15-minute intermission, and starts at 7:00pm. There is an optional prologue which starts at 6:15, in which Mr. Tenreiro talks about Dickens’ life, what 1843 London was like, and some back story of “A Christmas Carol.” Tickets are available from Richard Nereau, Cynthia Gray or in the church office, for a donation of $25.00. 100% of the ticket sales will benefit the Rush United Methodist Church and Rush Henrietta Rotary. Mark your calendars now so you can be part of this memorable start to the Christmas season.
